Update of Hurricane Sandy

High Wind Warning now in effect from 8 am Monday to 8 pm ET Tuesday night.

Timing: sustained winds of 30 to 40 mph are expected by 8 am Monday, then increasing around noontime Monday to 35 to 45 mph with hurricane force wind gusts 60 to 70 mph lasting into early Tuesday morning.

Impacts: a prolonged 24 hour high wind event will take place across the warning area. Coupled with Heavy rains from Sandy, the high winds will lead to significant tree damage. Residents, visitors. And businesses across the region should plan for widespread power and communication outages.

The Return

 With only 20 days left, it’s only a matter of time when the return of Chicago Bulls Point Guard Derrick Rose is back on the court where he deserves to be instead of being on the sidelines. Ever since his injury in Game 1 of the start of the playoffs against the 76’s in spring, I have been praying for that his injury will heal so that he could play again. Hopefully in the winter my prayers will be answers when the Chicago star is back on the court and finish where he left off in that pursuit for his 1^st  NBA Championship. Adidas Predator.

As we all know, when come to everything soccer Adidas is the brand to see. Today I want to talk about one of the premiere soccer cleats on the market today, The Adidas Predator LZ. What makes this shoe so special? Well if you can take a closer look on them you can find its uniqueness. Inside and out the shoe there are is five parts. First, the large First Touch zone has recessed ribs to cushion impact and stop the ball. It’s a vacuum effect for instant control. Second, the Drive zone has a raised and thicker 3D shape following the natural curve of the instep to help create rebound distance and open the game. Third, would be The Dribble zone is designed for quick contact with the ball and close control for an easy fell on the ball. Fourth, the large Control/Pass zone is memory foam with a sticky coating on top making the control/dribble easy for the user and this ensures consistency, precision and killer passing. Lastly fifth the Sweet Spot zone 3D ribs ensure longer contact with the ball to generate speed and spin.
